Aamir Khan 3 IDIOTS ropes in Tendulkar for Alternative Reality Game!!

Aamir Khan, the perfectionist super star of bollywood who is famous for his innovative and shrewd marketing of films(like ‘Ghajini’), has roped in Indian cricketing God Sachin Tendulkar to promote  his upcoming magnum opus ‘3 Idiots.’

Aamir Khan, who plays the lead in Rajkumar Hirani’s flick ‘3 Idiots’ opposite ravishing Kareena Kapoor, is a childhood friend and neighbor of the batting maestro in Mumbai, and hence did not have any difficulty in convincing Sachin to become part of his ongoing publicity blitzkrieg.

Sources reveal that Aamir Khan had a meeting with Sachin Tendulkar in the presence of his doctor wife Anjali Tendulkar, and the gracious maestro agreed to be part of ‘3 Idiots’ promotional game. The game is to be known as Alternative Reality Game and Aamir Khan will play hide and seek with audience through it.

Sources close to Aamir Khan reveal that Alternative Reality Game revolves around Sachin Tendulkar giving a clue to the audience about the perfectionist actor’s whereabouts. Aamir Khan will play the game of hide and seek with his fans to generate the requisite hype for his upcoming flick ‘3 Idiots’.

In fact, the game has already started and Aamir Khan’s first interaction with the audience in the holy city of Varanasi (in Uttar Pradesh) even ended. By Sunday evening Aamir Khan is said to have disappeared even from Varanasi and moved in disguise to some other city to enthrall his fans.

Before moving to some other secret location in disguise, Aamir Khan located his mother Zeenat’s childhood abode in the city and even expressed his desire to buy the building from its present owner, who is a Sikh gentleman. Aamir’s mother used to live in Khwaja Manzil of Tiliya Nala locality in Varanasi during her childhood, and the perfectionist actor had chosen this place to be his first place for his innovative game.

Before starting the game and appearing in Varanasi, Aamir Khan had also shot a promotional video by the name of ‘Aamir Goes Missing’ on a handy cam. The video also features super star’s beautiful director wife Kiran Rao (she is directing Aamir Khan and Pratik Patil in ‘Dhobhi Ghaat’).

‘3 Idiots’ is a big budget flick being produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra and directed by Rajkumar Hirani of ‘Munnabhai’ fame. Aamir Khan plays the part of an engineering student along with Sharman Joshi and R Madhavan. Kareena Kapoor, the sizzling hot sexy babe of bollywood, provides the romantic angle to the flick.

The film is due for a world wide release on December 25 and Aamir Khan is leaving no stone unturned to make the flick a success at the box office. His innovative hide and seek game with the audiences of different cities is aimed at creating a ‘Ghajini’ like buzz before the flick actually hits the theatres on Christmas.
