Priyanka Chopra returns as Roma in 'Don 2'

Its rare for Bollywood heroines to return in sequels of their films, but then Farhan Akhtar hasn't built his formidable reputation.

As a filmmaker by treading the beaten path. Priyanka Chopra is on board for the sequel of Don: The Chase Begins Again with co-star Shah Rukh Khan.

Farhan Akhtar confirms that "Priyanka, SRK, Arjun Rampal and Boman Irani are on board." Priyanka underwent special martial arts training for her role in the original.

Her character Roma joins the gang of Vijay Don (Shah Rukh), with plans to kill the Don because he killed her brother and his fiancee, Kamini (Kareena Kapoor).

Filming for Don 2 will begin in September 2010 after Farhan wraps up sister Zoya Akhtar's yet to be titled film set in Spain with co-stars Hrithik Roshan and Abhay Deol. Farhan is also the producer of the film.
Priyanka Chopra has just returned from Bangkok where she filmed the first schedule of Sajid Nadiadwala production's Siddharth Anand helmed Anjaana Anjaani with co-star Ranbir Kapoor. She will be next seen in Jugal Hansraj helmed Yash Raj production, Pyaar Impossible with co-star Uday Chopra, due in theaters on January 8.
