After signing SRK's dushman Akshay Kumar for Tees Maar Khan ('Farah rocks the Khan boat'; November 18, HiTLIST), Farah Khan is all set to sign SRK's other enemy Salman Khan's girlfriend Katrina Kaif opposite Akki in the same film.This comes as yet another blow to the now more or less fragile relationship between Shah Rukh and Farah.
Says an industry source, "Farah has wanted to work with Katrina for a long time now. Apparently, when she was working with Shah Rukh on Happy New Year, she had Katrina in mind. But given SRK and Salman's relationship at the time, she decided against signing Kat. Now, she has no such hang-ups. Also she feels that Kat's chemistry with Akki would work like a charm for her film."
Farah has not approached Katrina as yet. Akshay, too, is very keen to get her on board. As the co-producer of the film, he has an equal say.
The director maintains, "I haven't approached anyone! Am still sorting out an avalanche of photos of new girls." When quizzed if would be launching a newcomer like she did in with Deepika Padukone in Om Shanti Om, Farah says, "I'm considering everyone haven't really decided yet. I may even take an established heroine. It's a very glamorous role."
